We have now developed a partnership with PRECISION TRAINING & EDUCATION LTD. a Tuam based training company to deliver courses in further education at our school in Galway city centre.
Founded in 2010 by Paul Flaherty and Michael Walshe, Precision Training and Education Ltd is a young and dynamic company which tailors all courses to the immediate needs of our clients, delivering training in Tuam , now at Bridge Mills Galway Language Centre or in the workplace.

Occupational First Aid €195—max 10 people (FETAC 5 certification)
28th 29th 30th September 9.30am- 5.30pm
An intensive FETAC level 5 three day first aid course that teaches participants emergency first aid techniques such as C.P.R and defibrillation , emergency choking intervention, dealing with burns, broken bones and bleeding.
Paediatric First Aid for parents and childcare workers
€120 - max 12 people (certificate of attendance)
27th September 9.30am- 5.30pm
This course is aimed at childcare workers and parents. It teaches emergency first aid techniques such as C.P.R and defibrillation, emergency choking intervention, dealing with burns, broken bones and bleeding with an emphasis on treating children
Computers for Beginners €120—max 12 people (certificate of attendance)
September 26th 7pm-9pm 6 weeks (1 night per week)
This course is aimed at the complete beginner. Each participant will become familiar with the operation of a computer, the internet, emails and word processing. The course is paced to suit people who have never used a computer or have very little experience.
Computers for Improvers €120—max 12 people (certificate of attendance)
27th September 7pm-9pm 6 weeks (1 night per week)
This is a follow on course from Introduction to Computers. Participants will learn how to utilise the power of the internet to book flights on-line, use e-bay, use social media sites such as facebook. The course also teaches users to store, edit and share photos on-line, as well as an introduction to spreadsheets.
Computers for Seniors €120—max 12 people (certificate of attendance)
September 26th - 10am - 12pm - 6 weeks (1 morning per week)

September 29th 6weeks - 7 to 9pm
This course is aimed at people that have a broad working knowledge of computers and computer applications. The course assumes no programming background and provides an overview of the software development process in addition to introducing important programming constructs and methodologies.
Topic covered include: The Java Virtual Machine Variables and Types Object Oriented Design Software Development Methodologies Good Programming Practices Testing/Debugging
Introduction to Digital Photography -€120 - max 12 people (certificate of attendance)
September 28th 6weeks - 7 - 9pm
This course is aimed at people beginning to use a digital camera and photo editing software.The course outlines how to get the best out of your digital camera, photo storage and back up and simple editing techniques for enhancing your digital photographs.
Topic covered include: Introduction to Digital Photography Basics Mega-Pixel Ratings Digital Camera Settings and Modes Photo Storage Photo Editing Night Photography
Manual Handling €45—max 14 people (certificate of attendance)
2.30 to 5.30pm 30th September
A three hour course delivered by a FETAC Level 6 accredited Manual Handling Instructor. This course is paramount for any employee from a health and safety perspective. Participant learn the correct methods for all lifting practices.
