Bridge Mills Galway Language Centre holds school Quality Assurance (QA) accredition with EAQUALS and QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland).
In the field of education and training, quality assurance (QA) refers to an ongoing, continuous process of monitoring, evaluating, maintaining and enhancing the quality of our education system, our school and our programmes.
These two accreditation systems ensure transparency, efficiency and a commitment to quality of service for students, teachers, agents and everyone who chooses to work with the school.
Eaquals exists to foster quality in language education and its accredition is recognised as a world leader designing and applying quality standards for language education since 1991, and now operating in over 30 countries worldwide. EAQUALS’ quality scheme is more than just a system for accrediting institutions. It also aims to make a constructive contribution to the improvement of the organisation, and inspection reports provide a blueprint for further institutional development.
As a regulatory body, QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland) evaluates the quality assurance (QA) policies and procedures of its providers to ensure that they have the capacity, resources, and QA system necessary to deliver programmes leading to a QQI award and offer programmes to international learners. QQI is the state agency responsible for the external quality assurance of further and higher education and training in Ireland.
QA processes promote accountability, openness and transparency. They also help ensure that, at the end of a programme of study or training, the qualification awarded to is credible and trustworthy.
